Completed MBA in Information Management.
Coordinated design and construction consultation of multi-million dollar infrastructure projects
in Saudi Arabia between major oil company and government departments. Projects included
public utilities, highways, airports, industrial development, site preparation, security facilities,
communications lines and towers, etc. Assisted company representatives and government
consultants/contractors in finding marketing contacts for their products, services, and inquiries.
Interviewed candidates and reviewed resumes of multinational prospective employees for various
job positions - managerial, professional, technical, administrative - for the Saudi Arabian Oil Company.
These included civil, electronic, legal, scientific, research, teaching, and other job specialties.
Wrote procedures manual and company-wide General Instruction on methods to successfully coordinate
department-level projects internally and externally. Wrote similar but shorter version as
an introduction of company project review procedures for government departments.
Provided seminars to newly-hired employees and spouses on Saudi Arab customs, do's and don'ts,
legal aspects of living in Saudi Arabia, contact information, etc.
Discovered errors in lab testing procedures for company in Iran that were invalidating concrete
compression test results. The error was warped capping plate. Correction resulted
in negating test results and customer acceptance of millions of dollars in concrete foundation
work on large copper mine project.
At a press conference in NE Thailand, in response to my question, received reassurances from
the Prime Minister that redoubled efforts would be forthcoming in all areas of Thailand for
government agencies to provide closer liaison with members of the press. Within a month,
the Prime Minister's office had issued an instruction that all Thai government agencies meet
with the press every two weeks to ensure that the press is well-informed on government activities
and thus able to so inform the public.
